Bait recommendations: Squirrels are attracted to unroasted nuts, cereal, grains, popcorn, sunflower seeds, anise oil on bread.  Skunks prefer chicken entrails, cracknels, fish, May Beetle larvae, and crisp bacon.  Mink prefer fish, fresh liver, chicken entrails, and cracknels.  Muskrats prefer frsh vegetables, parsnips, carrots, sweet apples, oil of anisea and musk from other muskrats.  Rabbits are attracted to vegetables, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, lettuce, apples and bread in the winter.  Cats feed on fish, meats, oil of catnip and sardines.
