The Gotcha Sprayer Pro can be angled to spray or dust those hard-to-reach areas. It's worth the price to not have to pull out the ladder or climb up on the roof to reach those high areas. Read the label on the wasp and hornet sprays: some say they damage siding, shingles, and/or shrubs so minimizing over-spray with the Gotcha Sprayer Pro is very beneficial. Position the Gotcha Sprayer Pro right in front of the target. No more messy over-spray on the house or windows. Minimize the over-spray getting on your face and in your eyes.
The Gotcha Sprayer Pro can attach to extension poles up to 24ft long to reach those high eaves. No more climbing on ladders to reach those high peaks. It can be angled to reach under decks without having to crawl in the dirt or getting trapped in tight spaces. Spray wasp nests, hornet nests, and yellow jacket nests with any standard wasp and hornet spray. It can also be used with our powder dusters for removing carpenter bees. Simply secure the can to the Gotcha Sprayer Pro and extend the extension pole and spray.
For removing wasp nests or removing hornet nests, check out our complete combination packages for spraying and scraping off the nests. Use the Gotcha Sprayer Pro to spray wasp and hornet spray around bleachers, picnic areas, concession stands, public restrooms, boat docks, barns and out buildings. Position the spray directly in front of the target area and minimize the amount of spray that gets on the surrounding areas and into the environment. For removing wasp nests or removing hornet nests, check out the wasp nest scraper below.
Use the Gotcha Sprayer Pro for spraying pruning compound or sealing spray on freshly cut limbs and branches. Reduce the risk of insect infestation. Use the Gotcha Sprayer Pro for spray painting tree branches and marking the ones that need to be cut. This product worked well for me. I have an extendable metal window cleaning tool, so unscrewed the squeegee from that and it fit the product. By the time it is extended 15 ft up or so, the spray can feels a little heavy and unwieldy, but it worked. A word of advice--use gloves, as some of the spray can run down the pole. Saved me the time of calling someone out and listening to a pitch about the necessity of paying some monthly amount for years to come to keep on top of various pests that I don't have. Couldn't get a straight answer on the phone for the price to remove a wasp nest, so I just paid for this and did it myself. Thumbs up!

I received this device a few days ago. I used it for the first time today. I followed the instructions precisely and placed it on the end of my 17.5 feet long extension pole. It completely eliminates the need for my extension ladder! Durability? We'll see. I absolutely love this thing. I used it to spray the small gap into my upper siding where yellow-jackets were entering and going into my attic. I'm thrilled something this useful and simple exists! It's a product that's made my life measurably better. Thank God this happens once in a while! I'm a licensed civil engineer. A BIG thank you to the creative, thoughtful person who designed it! Simple, effective, and VERY useful. It may actually save lives by preventing unnecessary ladder use.

Just used this device for the first time. I have wasps that build in the eaves where it forms a V, some 35 feet away up a steep roofing section. I ordered the extension pole and Gotcha Sprayer. Very easy to set up and use (yes, please read and follow the instructions). I used Spectracide Wasp and Hornet killer with 27' of range (not really--if there's any wind at all it's more like 20'), hooked it up to the Gotcha, ran the pole in the V of the gutter at full extension of the cord (17' I believe) and got within about 15' of the nest and nailed it. Highly recommend the Gotcha--well made in the USA, and it works like the big dawg! --Steve b.

Just got mine today and it works great. I tried 2 random extension poles (Rubbermaid and Quickie) and it threaded on perfectly. No trouble tightening the strap to hold the can in, though you do have to turn the knob with moderate hand pressure to hold the can securely - I can see that someone with poor hand strength or arthritis might have trouble. Some people have had problems getting the device to spray without the can moving down in the holder. The above point may help with that. I also suspect that it helps to insert that can in as far as it will go (as shown in the picture) so that the lever is up as high as possible - this will provide an optimal fulcrum and decrease the pull force needed to actuate the sprayer.

My wife and I were able to get rid of a scary large hornet's nest under the eve of our shed over 3 nights of spraying with this adapter and a painters pole with extension. I highly recommend this adapter, and it saved us from calling a pest control company and paying hundreds of dollars. I made a 6" straw that fit over the nozzle of the hornet spray can and was able to get the spray in the hornet's nest hole with very little difficulty. I filled the nest full of foaming spray in 5-6 seconds. It worked great! I think the hornets were done after the first night, but we sprayed 2 more nights just to make sure. On the fourth day we brought the nest down with a power washer. Yes, they were all dead.

Area to be sprayed was roof section overhung by slightly higher roof at leaving +/-6 inches clearance. Distance from my hand to target about 10 feet. Adjusted the turn screws to angle the spray head and sprayed aerosol of Lasttseal liquid spray to seal leak. Now, I even managed to fit an aerosol can of Great Stuff foam to overspray the area just to make sure wind driven rain would not get into cracks I might have missed.. Spray foam cans have a trigger top which is not suited to the Gotcha device. Solved the issue by snugging the plastic can fitting to the top of the Gotcha trigger until it was perfectly aligned with 1/16 in. between Gotcha the trigger and spray can.

Noticed some wasps on an upper story eave. Didn't want to be on the rooftop or on a ladder when we sprayed them (because they will swarm) so went looking for a solution on the internet. This product fit the bill. There was another that was cheaper but had more iffy reviews so purchased the Gotcha Pro.
Worked like a charm. Attached the Gotcha to a paint extension pole, and two applications later the wasps were gone.
Worth $30 when you consider what a trip to the ER would cost instead.

Earlier this year, I had a hornet's nest attached to the power drop on our home. In order to reach it (though aerosol cans state "can spray up to 25'), I had to use a ladder to get on a lower roof to be able to spray the nest. Last week, I found a second nest about 20 to 25 feet up in an oak tree. It got me thinking about whether there might be an adapter tool that would hold the spray can atop an extension pole.
I did a quick search on the Internet and found several versions.
I'm very pleased with this model as the cost was right and there were several helpful features on the adapter that made it customizable to different situations.
I used it to spray 3 cans of wasp and hornet spray and easily destroyed the nest. I already had an expandable aluminum pole that I've used for window washing and other jobs and this adapter easily screwed to the end of that pole.
I recommend this, wish I had it earlier, and know it will come in handy in the future.

One of the best features is being able to angle the pole relative to the can, as aerosols spray best when upright.
I've now got the wasps under control, and realize that with this gadget I don't need to buy the "20-foot spray can" for wasps--I can use less toxic products in the future. Also, the long-distance wasp spray can lasted only about 15 seconds. Regular spray cans last longer, so in the long run, this will pay for itself. Anything in a spray can will work with this gadget.
After reading about can potentially slipping, I wrapped can in a bit of non-skid shelf liner before tightening, which worked. Also, a camping headlamp helped me see, as I was spraying high up at night (when wasps are quiet). A disposable face respirator (from painting supplies) eliminates breathing the spray.

I had a hornet nest under my 2nd story eave, so well out of my reach. I thought about getting on a ladder and spraying before buying this, but the thought of trying to hurry down a ladder with potentially angry wasps coming after me didn't seem too appealing. So I bough this attachment, screwed it on a telescoping pole my wife has for dusting high areas in the house, inserted a can of wasp spray, and decimated the nest. The Gotcha sprayer is really constructed much better than I expected. I was expecting a cheap plastic thing, but it really is rather well engineered, and the screw-type mechanism to hold the can of pesticide works very well.

I'm in Florida, so we have pool cages and Lanai's. Who wants to live with the spiders? They build unsightly webs up in the rafters. So when you visit someone who doesn't mind them, or can't reach them, their cage looks like it's actually hairy. (each strand contains hundreds of small spiders) So I came to Amazon to find something that solves the issue, while keeping me far enough from the aerosol that I typically barely smell the spray. Love this contraption-- bought a telescoping Heavy Duty handle to allow me to reach out over the pool. NO HAIRY CAGE, AND NO SPIDERS
